Bring home the ethereal beauty that defined Irish Romanticism.

Dreams

This haunting portrait captures a young girl lost in reverie, surrounded by delicate pink clematis flowers that speak to Victorian longing and imagination. Created around 1861, Sir Frederic William Burton's masterpiece reflects the Pre-Raphaelite movement's obsession with beauty, youth, and the inner life. This is your chance to bring it home.

About the Artist

Sir Frederic William Burton (1816–1900) was one of Ireland's most celebrated painters, born in Corofin, County Clare. He trained at the Royal Hibernian Academy and became known for his intimate character studies and romantic subjects. Burton spent much of his career in London but remained deeply connected to Irish cultural identity, eventually serving as Director of the National Gallery. His work bridges Irish sensibility with European artistic movements, making him a bridge between two worlds.Tracked, securely packaged, delivered in 2-5 business days.
