Bring home the revolutionary spirit that changed Irish art forever.
Abstract Composition 1935
Mainie Jellett's masterwork captures the freedom of pure form—rhythmic arcs and layered geometry dancing across the canvas. Created in 1935, this painting announced Irish modernism to the world, breaking from tradition with bold confidence. This is your chance to bring it home.
About the Artist
Mainie Jellett was a Dublin-born painter who studied under Albert Gleizes in Paris, returning to Ireland determined to reshape what art could be. In the 1920s and 30s, when abstraction was radical and misunderstood, she exhibited fearlessly and taught generously. Her work proved that modernism had an Irish voice. She remains one of the most important artists of her generation.
