Bring the wild energy of the Irish countryside into your home, no matter where you are in the world.
Rushing Stream
Roderic O'Conor captures the raw power of flowing water with bold, confident brushstrokes and luminous colour that practically vibrates off the canvas. Painted in the late 19th century, this Post-Impressionist masterwork shows a stream in full flood, rendered with the intensity O'Conor brought to every landscape. If you've ever felt the pull of Irish waters, this is your chance to bring it home.
About the Artist
Roderic O'Conor was an Irish Post-Impressionist painter who spent much of his career in Brittany and the south of France, yet remained deeply connected to the Irish landscape. Self-taught and fiercely independent, he developed a distinctive style of thick, expressive brushwork and daring colour combinations that set him apart from his contemporaries. His work bridges European modernism and Irish sensibility, making him one of the most important Irish painters of his generation.
