Bring home the light and stillness of the Thames, painted by one of Ireland's greatest masters.
The Path by the River
John Lavery captures a sun-dappled moment along the Thames at Maidenhead, where water and light dissolve into soft impressionist brushwork. Painted in the early 1900s, this pastoral scene reflects Lavery's fascination with fleeting natural beauty and the play of colour on water. Whether your family walked English rivers or you simply crave the peace of this masterwork, this is your chance to bring it home.
About the Artist

He studied in Glasgow and Paris, absorbing impressionist technique while developing his distinctive approach to light and portraiture.
