Mildred Anne Butler (1858–1941) was an Irish artist known for her impressionistic watercolors of rural life, animals, and gardens. Born in Kilkenny, she studied in London under Paul Jacob Naftel and became associated with the Newlyn School, which emphasized naturalistic outdoor scenes. Butler was a member of the Royal Academy and the Royal Hibernian Academy, gaining recognition for her delicate and atmospheric depictions of the Irish countryside.
